What are ‘ticket renewals’?
Ticket renewals are a limited time period during which returning festival-goers get the first chance to secure their Grandstand seats, purchase pit, paddock, RV Club and on-site parking passes and become a Champions Club member BEFORE these limited quantity items go on sale to the general public.
When is the ticket renewal time period?
Renewals start Tuesday, November 13th at 10 a.m. PT. If you are eligible to renew, you’ll have until December 10th at 6 p.m. PT to renew, possibly change or upgrade your reserved seats for the 2019 Grand Prix of Portland set for Labor Day weekend again, August 30th-September 1st.
Who can renew their tickets?
Any 3-Day Grandstand seat purchasers from the 2018 event will be able to renew their tickets for 2019.
What about the RV Club members during this renewal period?
RV Club members will be able to renew their same spots as well during this time period. Note: You will not be able to purchase Champions Club membership during this renewal period unless you had also purchased 3-Day Grandstand seats.
Why should I renew now? Can’t I just wait until they go on sale to the public?
This process gives priority to the Grand Prix of Portland’s most loyal customers to keep their preferred seats. You can wait, but there would then be no guarantee that the seats you had last year will be available once the public sale begins. Renewing your tickets allows you to have the same seats you had in 2018, and also to purchase limited quantity items including: Champions Club, Pit & Paddock Passes and on-site Parking BEFORE they go on sale to the general public - these items will all sell out quickly. Get everything you need now and relax until August 30th!
How do I renew my tickets?
It’s easy! You will receive a personalized email on November 13 that includes all your account information and an exclusive link. The link will take you to a shopping cart, where you can purchase the same seats you had in 2018, and if you choose to, add a weekend parking pass, pit and paddock passes, and a Champions Club membership.
