Portland International Raceway (PIR) is the home of the BITNILE.COM Grand Prix of Portland and Pacific Office Automation 147. PIR is a 1.964-mile, 12-turn permanent road course owned by the City of Portland and operated under the Portland Parks and Recreation.

We would like to ensure an enjoyable atmosphere and experience for all event guests. The safety of our event staff and guests is our number one priority; therefore, we ask that you please observe the following policies and procedures:

Portland International Raceway is an accessible site meeting ADA guidelines. Reserved spaces on accessible viewing platforms are available for purchase. Track crossing times will be listed closer to event weekend to allow people with accessible needs entry into the infield (with the appropriate pass).

Accessible Parking
Accessible Parking is located in the South Paddock Area. Access to this area will be granted with the combination of an ADA event parking pass and a government issued ADA placard. Accessible washrooms are located approximately 250 ft. from the accessible parking area.

Please purchase ADA parking at least two weeks before the event to allow time for the pass to arrive by mail. A small quantity of passes will be avaialble for purchase during event weekend at the event Ticket Booths which are located outside the Main Entrance.

Accessible Tickets
Platforms located between Grandstands A and B as well as Grandstands C3 and C4 are available for Accessible viewing and can be purchased at the Bronze ticket level.

Track Crossing Times & Locations

Pedestrian track crossing can be done near the start/finish line.

Bicycle parking is located near the main gate.

Children 12 and under receive free General Admission access for both Green Savoree events at PIR as well as Paddock access to the BITNILE.COM Grand Prix of Portland when accompanied by a ticketed adult. A Reserved Grandstand ticket is needed to enter any Reserved Grandstand area.

Children 2 & under do not require a grandstand ticket, when accompanied with a ticketed adult. Children 2 & under will be required to sit in their parent's or guardians' lap in the grandstands.

No alcoholic beverages or cannabis may be brought onto the race grounds. If a guest attempts to enter the grounds with alcohol or cannabis, the guest will be removed from the grounds and may face police charges. Alcoholic beverages can be purchased on site and are not permitted to leave the designated licensed areas.

Any guest purchasing, in possession of, or consuming alcohol must be 21 years of age or older and be able to prove their age by showing valid photo identification.

Please note individual sanctioning bodies set their own hours of operation. Credentials are not available for pick-up after the Credential Center has closed for the day. Hours are subject to change.

PIR is located just west of I-5 at Exit 306B. Also, there is an Interstate Max light rail stop right outside the gates. MAX runs from PIR as far east as Gresham, to the airport, downtown and as far west as Hillsboro. Downtown Portland is approximately 25 minutes from PIR on MAX.

Gate Locations
Please reference the event maps for gate locations. All spectators will use the Main Entrance. The West Entrance is only for RV Club members and guests with Infield Parking.

For all events over race weekend, patrons will be asked to open purses, backpacks or other bags for inspection upon entry. Prohibited items, including all other items deemed a risk to staff and/or patrons’ safety by event security will not be permitted onto the event grounds.

During the BITNILE.COM Grand Prix of Portland, mobile IndyCar Paddock passes can be redeemed for a wristband at the Pass Redemption area near the pedestrian bridge. You may choose to redeem your Saturday and Sunday passes at the same time, so that you do not have to stand in line twice. As a general rule of thumb, the lines are shorter earlier in the weekend.

There are several First Aid stations throughout the facility.

Coolers are allowed, but please no glass containers. Portland International Raceway is a city park, it is illegal to bring alcohol in to a city park. Alcoholic beverages are available for sale at major events to those of legal drinking age and with valid ID.

All tickets for all events are both non-refundable and non-exchangeable. The Racing series will make their best efforts to race in the rain.

Lost and Found is located in the rose cup room, at the base of the tower.

The following items may be brought onto the race grounds but will be subject to inspection by event staff and security.

Binoculars, scanners and cameras w/small case
Coolers with food and beverage (alcohol and glass containers prohibited)
Purses, backpacks and other small bags
Seat cushions, folding/camping chairs
Strollers
Umbrellas may be used as long as they do not obstruct the view of others
Recognized mobility aids used by guests with disabilities are permitted. Guests are advised to bring a lock to chain wheelchairs and mobility scooters underneath the grandstands.
Camera stands (tripods, monopods, etc.) are allowed on the grounds as long as they do not obstruct the view of others; such equipment is not to be used in the stands.
Small, personal handheld devices - cell phones, PDAs, etc.

All items are brought on site at your own risk. Event staff and security are not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items.

While Green Savoree Portland does not encourage bringing pets to the track, we do allow them. Pets are the responsibility of the pet owner. Pet owners are liable for any injury or damage caused by their pets. All pets must be kept under the control of a leash no longer than 6 ft. Pets cannot be left in vehicles unattended. Please be courteous and clean up after your pet. Failure to do so will result in removal from the event. Pets are not permitted in any buildings, concession areas, grandstands or viewing mounds, hospitality locations, paddock/garage areas, or pit lane. Green Savoree Portland reserves the right to restrict/remove disruptive or exotic pets. If your pet disrupts or causes harm to another individual or property, you and your pet may be removed from the facility without a refund.

Pop up tents are not permitted in any parking areas.

Strict security measures have been put in place to ensure an enjoyable experience for all event guests. Violating these policies may warrant ejection or arrest

Carrying open food/beverage containers across track crossings
Abuse of intoxicants
Disorderly conduct/fighting/profanity
Placing cups on walls
Riding a motorcycle or motorized scooter without a helmet
Anyone 16 and under riding a bicycle without a helmet
Running/jogging
Standing on grandstand seats
Smoking on Portland International Raceway grounds
Spitting tobacco
Standing or sitting in walkways, aisles and ramps
Throwing or kicking objects

None of the listed prohibited items may be left in or around the gate area. We ask all patrons to leave any non-essential, prohibited items at home, or locked in the trunk of your vehicle. The following items are not permitted on the race site:

Glass bottles/containers
Illegal drugs
Outside alcohol and cannabis
Fires, Grills, Fireworks
Firearms, knives, explosives or weapons of any description are not permitted
No flammable or combustible materials
Personal protection devices (mace/pepper spray)
Scaffolding and other structures
Stadium Seats
Noise Makers, Horns, Helium Balloons, Beach Balls
Banners
Camcorders
Camera lenses that exceed 10’’
Aerosol cans (except sunscreen)
Bottles
Inflatables (beach balls, etc.)
Items that obstruct views
Roller blades, skateboards, skates, scooters, bicycles
Handbills or samples are not to be distributed or placed on the grounds without the express written approval of the Grand Prix of Portland
Other items that are deemed hazardous or diminish the enjoyment of the event by other patrons
Laser lights and pointers
Poles or sticks(except those to assist the disabled)
Projectile items and missiles
Drones or other unmanned aircrafts
Laptop computers (see permissable items for accepted devices)
Large bags including but not limited to: Duffel and grocery bags, luggage

None of the above restricted items may be left in or around the gate area.

Pending availability, tickets can be upgraded both before and during the event. Tickets may be upgraded on-site at the Main Entrance ticket window.
