BERLIN, Germany. Sun. 12 May 2024 – António Félix da Costa clinched the win in Round 10 at the 2024 SUN MINIMEAL Berlin E-Prix making him the only driver to have won three times at the Tempelhof Airport Street Circuit. His win also secured Porsche's inaugural victory on home turf in Formula E.

PALOU LAUNCHES MAY MISSION WITH SONSIO GRAND PRIX VICTORY

Alex Palou capped a perfect start to the Month of May by winning the Sonsio Grand Prix on Saturday from the pole on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course.

Two-time and reigning NTT INDYCAR SERIES champion Palou drove his No. 10 DHL Chip Ganassi Racing Honda to a 6.6106-second victory over the No. 12 Verizon Business Team Penske Chevrolet of fellow two-time series champion Will Power. It was his second consecutive win in this event on the 14-turn, 2.439-mile road course at IMS, which leads into the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge on the 2.5-mile oval.

Sat. 11 May. 2024 - Nick Cassidy of Jaguar TCS Racing staged a stunning comeback at the 2024 SUN Minimeal Berlin E-Prix in Round 9 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, rising from 21st place midway through the race to secure victory. Despite starting from ninth on the grid and facing intense competition, Cassidy navigated two Safety Car periods with strategic prowess, ultimately overtaking fellow podium placers Oliver Rowland and Jean-Éric Vergne on Lap 43 to claim the lead.

Justin Allgaier powers to Xfinity Series win at Darlington

DARLINGTON, S.C. — Justin Allgaier finally beat Murphy’s Law to the checkered flag in Saturday’s Crown Royal Purple Bag Project 200 at Darlington Raceway.

This time, there were no bizarre circumstances to keep the driver of the No. 7 JR Motorsports Chevrolet out of Victory lane, like the late cut tire that deprived Allgaier of a near-certain win at Phoenix in the fourth race of the season.

NASCAR Xfinity Series races toward June 1 Portland showdown

The NASCAR Xfinity Series is in the heart of its 2024 season, with 10 races completed and two more to go before the racing action comes to Portland International Raceway for the third annual Pacific Office Automation 147 race on Saturday, June 1.

In the race for the season championship, Chandler Smith in the No. 81 Toyota has the slightest of leads. He's just 1 point ahead of Cole Custer in the No. 00 Ford. Custer won the 2023 Xfinity Series race here in Portland by just 0.142 seconds over Justin Allgaier. The two raced side-by-side down the front straight to the checkered flag. In third position 17 points behind the leader is Austin Hill, driver of the No. 21 Chevrolet. Hill won the first two races of this season, but has not stood atop the podium since February.

Big league racing headed to Portland this summer

Motorsports fans will enjoy a spring and summer of top-tier racing events at Portland International Raceway (PIR) this year, and the racing promoter is already on-site at the race track getting ready to host three major professional series.

Kevin Savoree of Green Savoree Racing Promotions and Nacho Calcedo of international racing sanctioning body Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) have been spending time in Portland making sure that all arrangements are in place to host the NASCAR Xfinity Series, the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, and the NTT IndyCar Series.
